On arrival we were taken in by the beautiful setting and countryside location of the shepherd's hut. A beautiful part of the world with great accommodation. The shepherd's hut was easily accessible by car and four legged friend, with an open but private outside fire pit and lounging area. The hut itself had all the practical amenities required for a very special stay. The bed was bigger than expected and a lovely surprise, the shower room and toilet were perfect, modern and good use of compact space. The owners were extremely welcoming and were more than happy to assist with any queries (including the very quick route to the local) and extra logs for the fire pit not to mention returning our cars parcel rack after leaving it behind! Great accommodation, beautiful location and close to all the local interests, excellent space for the dog to roam and a lovely night's sleep! We will return for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay in the shepherds hut for 5 nights. Location was lovely and peaceful and gorgeous view. Shepards hut had great facilities our favourites including the fire pit with seating, the Alexa and easy to work fold down bed.
