Nestled in the quaint village of Rhu, the Rosslea Hall Hotel is a great stay if you love a lake-fed river meets the sea view vibe. It is definitely not your average UK Inn that is usually meant to only arrive after your touristy day and doze off. I wish we had planned more days here because even if it seems like there isn't much to do, you can walk around an almost private beach and just relax in and around the property after a tiresome hike in Trossachs National Park and the busy shores of Loch Lomond in the summer. Welcoming staff, Scotland NEVER disappoints in people. Also, to reiterate - West is the best (the coast of Scotland, you must not miss). Plan your transit in advanc,e as this is the epitome of remote - car or camper van is ideal, but we took a train up to Helensburgh and a bus from the city centre to a bus stop very close to the property. Order the strawberry sundae as a treat <3

It was a lovely building the rooms modern and Cosy. The dining area particularly the breakfast lounge were very nice for having meals in. The food was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. We had a great overnight stay .

The location and quiet area, close to the loch. Very friendly staff, dog friendly, nice food and drink. It was a pleasant stay.
