I recently stayed at the Hermes Hotel for a weekend break and would like to share my experience with those who might be considering this hotel as an option, as I had a very positive experience. I would like to say a few words about the location: the hotel is perfectly situated just a few steps from Mandraki Harbour and a short walk from the medieval Old Town. For tourists who prefer to travel by public transport, there are two bus stops just across the road - one serving the local public transport network and another for long-distance buses connecting to the island’s main tourist attractions. The room was consistently clean (with special thanks to the lovely housekeeper, Irina), comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel itself is in a very convenient location close to local attractions. I stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the impressive view of the harbour and the Aegean Sea. The staff are friendly and professional, making the stay comfortable and always willing to assist with any queries. Breakfast offered a good variety of food, so you won’t go hungry (this is a standard European hotel whose offering is perfectly adequate). The dining area was pleasant and well organized, and I had no issues with Wi-Fi. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay at a reasonable price.

A wonderful hotel perfectly situated between the New Town and the Old Town. The room was large, clean, and featured amazing panoramic windows overlooking the sea and the historic fort.
