The property is fabulously situated in the heart of the old town. The room was very well designed and brilliantly functional. It was acceptably clean and contact with our host was very prompt, professional and efficient. We had a small issue with our room at 9pm at night which was sorted very efficiently within the hour. We would not hesitate to recommend The Bastion or indeed return. There are enough glasses and cups in the kitchenette, plenty of plug sockets throughout and a well thought out dressing table area. Good storage above a spacious clothes rack for luggage left enough room to move about without compromise. The shuttered windows allowed a lovely flow of air while providing privacy. The view of the clock tower and passing tourists from the window was delightful. We found it to be very quiet at night, despite being in the heart of the town as it was pedestrianised. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The huge day bed cushions made the bed a comfortable place to rest during the afternoon after many hours of exploring. Plenty of good quality towels were provided and the shower room was a good size with a powerful enough rainforest shower. A sink and vanity unit just outside the shower room was useful while my partner showered. The entrance hall was spacious, clean and well lit. The few stairs to the apartment were quite narrow but not an issue.

A clean comfortable apartment at the edge of the old town - next to various restaurants and shops but not noisy. We contacted the property manager a couple of times about some minor issues and they were resolved very quickly.

Great spot for discovering the medieval city of Rhodes. All sights are nearby, lots of restaurants and bars to enjoy
