The beautiful surroundings where the property was located. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms that we were allocated was very spacious. The breakfast was good.

Perfect getaway, you can be as busy as you want to be as there's lots to do in the surrounding areas, and you get to come back and enjoy the tranquility and beautiful scenery at Portland Manor. We took walks and went for MTB rides from the estate as we'd bought our bicycles with. We did the Power Van from George and the 7 passes drive which were very scenic and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The meals were great, we spoilt ourselves with a scrumptious anniversary dinner in the manor house which is a must. There are plenty of places to eat in the surrounding areas as well whilst exploring.

The staff was really friendly and easy to talk to. We were received very well and the room was spectacular with an amazing view. I liked that there was so much to do on the property, like swimming, hiking, skiing, massages, etc.
