Green Cottage was clean and as described with good parking. We had a minor issue and this was resolved immediately and in a friendly manner. Think this is an excellent place to bring dogs and go for walks. Scenic view and pub nearby too. (We didn’t bring a dog!) At the time, I’d booked a family suite in town for us and our son while my daughter was doing an expedition, and this was the same price so good value to have the whole property to ourselves. Televisions in both bedrooms added bonus.

Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Beautiful views from upstairs, and lots of red kite around. Food in the Lamb and Flag in Rhayader was very good.

The cottage had been decorated for Christmas, a lovely surprise. Toasty warm and a bottle of wine waiting.. Friendly owners and neighbours. We were invited to the community New Year's Eve party which was brilliant. Everything we needed for a brilliant break. The cottage was very cosy, WiFi better than we have at home. Bonus for us was no mobile phone signal. The local pub re opened New Year's Day. Even the wet and windy weather didn't cause any problems. Beautiful views. Hope to be back.
