Excellent location next to Hallgrimskirkja, small but functionally furnished room. Room as well as shared facilities were very clean. Microwave, fridge, water kettle, dishes, and cutlery available in shared kitchenette. Overall good value for money.

Easy self check-in, spotless room and very clean bathroom. Functional room with no frills, but perfect for night´s stay before heading to the airport. And right next to Hallgrimskirkja (actually saw it from my bed ;-) plus onsite parking. Got a got last minute deal, so pricewise okay, too. Would stay again!

Sunna Guesthouse is a clean, centrally located, and budget-friendly place to stay in Reykjavík. Its location right by Hallgrímskirkja Church is fantastic—not only do some rooms offer a beautiful view of the church (like mine did), but it’s also just a short walk to Bus Stop #8, which is super convenient for catching tours and airport shuttles. One thing to note: I wasn’t informed ahead of time that there is a shared kitchenette which would have been helpful to know . That said, the guesthouse offers a solid mix of comfort, value, and location—perfect for travelers looking to explore the city with ease.
