We absolutely adored our stay at the Exeter hotel. From the moment we entered the lobby we felt at home in the cosy, low-light atmosphere. There are gorgeous tea lights that light up the common spaces and outdoor areas. The location is unbeatable - super central and walkable to the city centre, restaurants, shopping and key bus stops. The room was perfect - clean, spacious, with extremely comfortable beds and a lovely, roomy shower. The products in particular were stand-out. My mum couldn’t stop raving about the shower gel and I was obsessed with the body lotion. The range of amenities available is also brilliant. The hotel has a bakery (DEIG) by the lobby with delicious doughnuts and coffee and a burger restaurant (Le Kock) next door. The classic Le Kock burger and potatoes was one of the best burger meals I’ve had in years! Additionally, there is a gym and delightful sauna available to use for guests. It felt like being at a spa! Finally, the staff were super friendly and helpful the entire stay. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and we would definitely return!

The rooms (we had 2 bookings for different parts of our trip) were both interesting. The staff was super-helpful and friendly. The attached bakery and restaurant/bar were great. The location right close to the harbour is brilliant!
