Although location was 20 minute walk into old town, it was fabulous for beach and had a pool

Great location, nice pool we didn’t struggle to get a bed as it wasn’t that busy. Room had everything you would need. Literally on the beach and lots of beds/ beach bars to choose from. Lots of restaurants nearby but also very close to old town, €7 in a taxi but also an easy walk. Aircon worked well but didn’t need to use very often as the room remained cool as was in the “basement” so didn’t have direct sun on it. Good value for money.

Check-in was at 9:00 p.m. — me and my two children. The administrator tried to check us into a room that I had not booked. The room was terrible — a tiny two-level space overlooking a busy road. There was one double bed and a sofa, on top of which they had placed an oversized mattress that was literally hanging off the edge. I have never seen anything like it. I had booked a room with three separate beds, which was very important for us. When I asked how he imagined we could sleep like that, he acted confused and pretended not to understand. I explained that I had booked a room with a sea view and three separate beds. His response was shocking — he called me aggressive and even said he would “talk to my underage son”! He suggested that my son should go check the new room, and told me to stay in the old one. Of course, I went myself — and the new room turned out to be exactly what I had booked. For the rest of our stay, the administrator treated us with arrogance, as if I hadn’t paid for the room and was staying there only out of his generosity. It’s awful when you have to fight for what you’ve already paid for — and then you’re made to feel unreasonable just for standing up for your rights. Aside from that, the hotel itself was wonderful in terms of price and quality. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. There were plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby, and the beach was just across the road. There’s also a beautiful, long promenade that leads to the city center (about a 40-minute walk).

This was our second stay at this hotel and, as always, we were absolutely delighted! The location was excellent, and the room was clean and cozy. We especially appreciate the friendly and professional staff. We'd also like to highlight the private pool and the very comfortable atmosphere. We'll definitely be back and recommending it to our friends!
