The property is in the perfect location, right in the middle of the busy strip. Full of shops and places to eat. The taxi rank is a 2 minute walk away. A large balcony with a lovely view of the ocean. Although you are in a busy area, the apartment is very quiet and the sound of the outside world doesn’t travel in. A massive thank you to Mary and family for being very kind and accommodating. We would definitely recommend staying here!

We have stayed in Reth many times at different locations to make the holiday feel a bit different but this apartment is the best we have ever stayed in. The owners are fantastic - good communication upon booking and prior to arrival. They own the shop downstairs so they meet you on arrival to show you the apartment/hand over the keys and the fact they are downstairs from 10 am till 11.00 pm every day is very reassuring should you need any assistance. during your stay. Christina (Marys mother) is wonderful, she even bought us little pastries and left them in the room for us. The location is exceptional - its right on the sea front overlooking the harbour and the back of the apartment looks onto the main shopping street so you are right in the centre for the town, about 10 mins walk to the beach and about 20 mins walk to the bus station. Considering the central location it is remarkably quiet - the bedroom is at the back so you dont hear any noise from the busy bars/restaurants along the front. I suppose if you like to sleep with the patio doors open you may hear some noise but we slept with the doors shut and it was probably the quietest apartment we have ever stayed in. We didnt hear any noise from downstairs or adjacent apartments the whole 2 weeks we were there - wonderful. The apartment is fantastic - light and spacious and has everything you could possibly need. Aircon in bedroom and lounge, 2 TVs one in the bedroom and one in the lounge (with BBC World Service), safe, iron/ironing board, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine - great storage. They have thought of everything. Being there for 2 weeks we really appreciatd the space. The roof terrace is really large with table and chairs and 2 loungers and drying rack. Its actually set back rather than a balcony sticking out so it is really private and has wonderful views of the harbour, the whole front looling to the castle - one of the best views we have ever had.

Very nice apartment and suprinsingly quiet. Great balcony overlooking the water. Location is perfect. *Please note this apartment has one VERY steep flight of stairs.
