This was my second stay at Mat Old Town Apartments. It is my favourite place to stay in Rethymno. Stella is an excellent hostess and is always available to help with any enquiries. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the sheets and towels are changed regularly. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Rethymno.

The apartment was in a great location, very clean. It is basic but has a washing machine and small kitchen.

The location of the property is perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the old town center. The apartment has everything you need: an iron, a hairdryer, a washing machine, a coffee maker, and dishes. Stella is extremely kind and wonderful. We received detailed instructions on how to get there, as well as all the information about the apartment. When we arrived, we were welcomed with water, juice, and croissants. She was also available for any questions or information we needed. Highly recommended for staying here!

The location was perfect! In the middle of the beautiful old town, but the street itself is very calm and quite. Number of restaurants and coffee shops around. Enjoyable 10 min walk to the beach. Walking distance form the city bus station where I have arrived and left from and to the airport. The most important for me was extremely responsive and helpful host. Stella was doing her best to contribute to my enjoyable stay in Rethymno. She helped with any questions I had (including the question about the best way to get to the airport) and did it very quickly. I have stayed at the apartment for 6 days. It was a big surprise that in the middle of my stay I was offered the change of linens and cleaning and it wasn't on an extra cost.
