Everything. Beautifully decorated large French style room , great breakfast , hosts Charles and Geraldine gave us excellent advice re things to do and see in the area and were very personable . Would have loved to stay longer .

We have just spent two memorable nights at La Dixmeresse with the new owners, Geraldine and Charles, who treated us like guests in their own home. La Dixmeresse is a charming, historic property, sympathetically renovated to accommodate today’s needs. It is on the edge of Restigne, a small quiet village surrounded by vineyards and well located for visiting multiple chateaux and wineries in this lovely region of France. Our bedroom was large and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and high-quality bed linen and towels. It was spotlessly clean and had every convenience. Geraldine is an excellent cook. A lovely breakfast was included, and we chose to have dinner there both nights. For my husband, who is diabetic, she arranged a beautiful fruit plate for his dessert, instead of the decadent chocolate cake with crème anglaise that I enjoyed! Charles (English speaking) helped us plan our tour each day, suggesting places that we had overlooked and giving us advice about which routes to take that would be most scenic.

Bruno and Valérie were really friendly and welcoming, and despite it being a last minute booking, they had no hesitation in offering to cook us dinner, which was delicious along with Bruno's wine recommendation. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The whole property was lovely. The village was quite, and within two minutes we were able walk to a great wine bar, or be standing amongst vines! Perfect! We highly recommend staying at La Dixmeresse.

Delicious . Freshly made coffee , excellent bread and home made jams. Everything was truly tasty. We could have had a cooked breakfast but after the luxurious meal the previous evening we chose the continental version.
