The breakfast was great! I loved the fresh orange juice, the chicken empadas, and the cakes. The view from the pool is amazing. The location was perfect for us, as we had an itinerary planned through several villages, and the accommodation was in an ideal spot. Also, the silence and the sounds of nature are beautiful. Rita is an amazing host!

Amazing place, comfortable, quiet, fantastic breakfast, very good host with lots of good advise on restaurants and what to do. High-end details like linen, homemade local specialities for breakfast at an incredible price. I will come back!

Everything is perfect at Outeiro do Barro. Rita and her family are amazing, the best place to stay in Alentejo. In the nature, in relax with every comfort you may need. Thanks for the hospitality and for the best fresh orange juice we've ever had. See you next time.

The hotel was in a very quiet relaxing area, with orange trees you could pick the fruit off of, and even a hotel cat hanging around. We went during a very quiet time of year and were the only guests the night we stayed which meant we got to meet and talk with the hotel owner (Rita) about the area and Portugal in general. Rita was very nice and welcoming, and made breakfast for us, even though we were the only guests that morning.
