Location was fantastic. Central to all shops, churches and restaurants. Breakfast staff very helpful. Breakfast was adequate. Good variety. Reception staff unenthusiastic. Bed was very comfortable.

While I regularly visit Regensburg where I spent my study abroad year in the past, I have not yet stayed in this hotel - but I got it recommended by my colleagues who were housed there during a business trip last year. I loved the central location of the hotel, just 3 minutes walk from the Old Town Hall and the Christmas markets at Neupfarrplatz and Haidplatz (Lucretiamarkt). The other monuments and Christmas markets are also in walking distance. I wanted to have a room with city view so I asked for a room facing the street and was very satisfied with it. There are people passing by until late at night who might be a bit louder, but I do not mind this - you can have a more quite room facing the inner courtyard, if you perfer that to the view of the street. Breakfast has a lot of choices and there was a tea and coffee making facilities in the corridor next to my room for the evening, so I was not missing anything essential. You can also keep your luggage in the hotel on the departure day which is very practical.
