I picked the Beaches because I read very good comments about it and I agree with them that it is splendid value. As a walker I loved the shared kitchen (I didn't see anyone else so really had a house to myself) with drying facilities. The shower was fantastic and everything smart and clean. The Pub and shop just down rbe road were welcome, too.

Steve the owner was so helpful on the phone prior to our arrival and once we arrived he was super friendly and informative of the area. He took us to our room and showed us around the establishment. The communal kitchen was very clean and it has a little outside garden which is handy if you're a smoker or just to sit with a cuppa in the sun. The room itself was lovely. The bed was very comfortable with perfect pillows, hard and soft. The bathroom was clean and provided shampoo, conditioner etc and the shower was spacious and powerful. Definitely will stay again.
