We stayed in the lodge. It was just elegance personified. It was perfect from the minute we walked in, with a personal note welcoming us for my partners birthday. A bottle of wine, fresh bread, fresh organic milk in the fridge, and a breakfast hamper for the morning- including local organic yoghurt. It comes equipped with all the necessities in the kitchen including a coffee machine. There are quite alot of amenities, which we didn’t get to use as we only stay one night. It’s perfect for anything you want your stay to be. The layout of the lodge is really cool, as it has a separate kitchen and dining area, while the lounge and bed are in another area, all facing the outdoor decking and the vineyard. The room has beautiful natural light, warm tones, relaxing atmosphere, allowing us to hit the reset button. The beds were super comfy, we had heaps of rest. It can get quite cold in Red Hill, we went in September since it was fresh but sunny. The room can get cold, especially at night, but there is heating which is great. There is an outdoor bath which is a really cool addition. Although it may be cold depending on the time of year you go, I recommend giving it a go. There are bath salts provided in the bathroom, but you may also want to bring some extra. One underrated feature that you don’t always get in a rental property, is a big good quality TV. Which allows you to log in to your own apps. Loved this. The customer service was wonderful, they provided early check in and late check out, which was very nice.

The views were simply breathtaking, overlooking the rolling hills and vineyard, creating a sense of peace and serenity that’s hard to find elsewhere. Everything about this stay was flawless.
