Staff were immediately friendly and helpful upon my arrival. I liked their relaxed vibe. It felt as though they enjoyed working here, and working together. The hotel was ideally suited for me, close to he railway station. That the hotel fronts onto a main road, with some unsavoury late night behaviour from members of the public did not detract from the oasis-feel of the hotel itself. The room was ideally sized for me as a single traveller, and the breakfast the following morning was wonderful
