Very clean. Beds were comfy. Close to amenities. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is great.

We liked having a communal space where basic breakfast items were provided along with a kettle and microwave.

Location was very convenient for Rausu town (whale watching) and the Shiretoko Visitor Centre. We walked for most of our time there, and these places were still possible on foot. Hosts were very hospitable, helpful and responsive.
