We had an absolute fantastic stay. Silviu is an excellent host who is always there for his guests and we really enjoyed talking with him. We can only agree with the other reviews and highly recommend everyone to dine there. The food is exceptionaly good, you can taste his passion for cooking. If possible, he fulfills every wish. During our stay we had a kind of a special experience, where Silviu helped us in all his ways. Thanks again! Our room and the bathroom were spacious and nicely furnished. The bed was big and particularly comfortable. Everything was clean and there were high-quality hygiene products available. The common room is comfortably furnished and the fireplace was always burning in the evening. The whole place is situated very quiet. We can warmly recommend this location.

Everything was great. Extraordinary hosts, beautiful location, superb air quality. The food was something out of this world, I recommend getting all meals at the lodge, if time allows and you’re not going out hiking too long. Will definitely come back.

Property is perfectly located with easy access to the best hikes in Retezat. The place is very new and well taken care of and super clean. The cherry on the top is the owner, who is excellent chef and creates amazing local dishes.

This was a real hidden pearl for us during our visit to Romania. The house is recently renovated and the owners did a very good job in styling, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The accommodation is really comfortable, cozy, clean and the rooms are perfect. You can park in front and it's one of the closest places to stay if you want to visit Retezat National Park through Poiana Pelegii. But what makes the place even better is the host, Silviu and his wife. They make you feel really welcome, are kind and warm people and they prepare very good meals. We enjoyed breakfast and diner twice and both were very tasty and well served. A memory that we will not forget and we hope to come back one day!
