We were two families traveling together to visit the area, and we stayed in the house (2 adults, 4 kids) and flat 1 (1 adult, 1 teen). Both places are decorated with a lot of charm and attention to detail. It does feel like home, and both the adults as well as the kids had a great time. There's a playground close by - close enough that the kids could sneak out by themselves to play. The surrounding area has a lot of family friendly things to do. Marburg is worth a visit, the Kletterpark and the swimming hall were great day-activities. The Edernsee about 1h away also has lots of great things to do (look for the upside down house and the "Draisine" - so much laughter). All in all, the house was the perfect home base for a great holiday.

We had the most fabulous stay. The guesthouse was absolutely beautiful. Perfectly appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We received the warmest of welcomes and loved every minute of our stay. Would love to return.
