The apartment is on the ground floor of an old 18th century house. It is lovely furnished and makes you feel at home directly. The forest is near by which is perfect for a short walk with the dog. It's a perfect location for day trips in the Vosges. It was our second stay, but this time we were there in winter and really appreciated the cosey atmosphere of the fireplace .

The apartment is cozy and has all the amenities to feel at home. The kitchen is well equipped with a full-size gas stove a few pots and pans, a coffee machine, toaster, water cooker and even two kitchen machines which I didn't use though. The whole apartment has a nice mix of old and new furniture and is lovely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and has a few on the terrace/ garden. The bathroom is small but clean and has a big shower and an electric radiator that heats the room quickly. There is enough storage to put the vanities. There were even a few veggies (extremely delicious tomatoes and pumpkins as well as a few herbs). The neighborhood is very calm and the the garden is secluded so that you can sit there in privacy. The living room has a decent size and we could place the dog-bed near the couch. The couch is comfortable. The TV is a little bit small, when viewing TV from the couch, but there are two comfortable chairs in case you want to move a little bit closer to the screen. The ceiling is a little bit lower than average but it's still higher than 2 meters so it rather adds to the cottage style than being an issue. The surroundings are marvelous! There is a hill with some archeological sights nearby and you can even see the Temple du Donon if you walk up the street and past the next house.
