If you come to the incredible toraja region, do yourself a favor and book your stay at sulawesi castle. Sarah is a force of nature, a great host, a knowledgeable guide and a fantastic baker. You'll feel right at home from the moment you step in and you'll truly experience toraja culture in a unique way. Quiet, clean, comfortable room, and the best breakfast ever. Believe the hype!

Sarah is such a brilliant, kind and fascinating host. One of the coolest people 😎. Sulawesi castle is unique, modern and excellent value for money. One of Sarah's passions is to bake. She makes quality bread rivaling top European bakeries. It's quite exquisite to find such bread when living in Asia. I hired Sarah to go touring. She took me to see whatever I asked for. I laughed a lot and felt completely relaxed. On other days Sarah gave me so much of her time which really enhanced my overall holiday experience. Thank you Sarah. I hope to stay with you again in the future.

A typical review would say that the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the location is convenient. Sulawesi Hotel certainly has all of this (the breakfast is outstanding, with homemade bakery items and jams every day), but there is one thing you won’t find anywhere else: Sarah. Believe me, you need to meet her. She is one of those wonderful people you meet by chance and then find yourself hoping to encounter again. Saying more would spoil it.
