The hosts were extremely welcoming, helpful, and friendly! They gave us so many tips and recommendations and even helped with the arrangements. Thanks to them and my guide, I truly had the best time traveling here. I originally planned to stay for 2 days but ended up staying a whole week during which I was able to experience many funerals, weddings, and festivals. I feel so grateful, my heart is full! The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, silent and with a great view.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The staff welcomed us, making us feel at home from the very first moment. They helped us organize every part of our trip and even took the time to show us their local traditions and customs, giving us an authentic and unforgettable experience. Everything was spotless and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for anyone looking for warmth, hospitality, and a real connection with the local culture!

Peso and Ana were really really lovely. They catered for our every need, from working out great itineraries to feeding us fantastic home cooked Indonesian meals, from accommodating us extending our stay to helping sort out our daughter’s visa extension. Location was great and the rooms good. A great place for travelling families to stay.

Our stay in Toraja was absolutely fantastic. The owner, Peso, is very communicative, helpful, and also has a great sense of humor — he really made the experience enjoyable. His wife is equally hospitable and always ready to assist with anything you might need. Peso also helped us arrange tours, which was super convenient. Scooter rental is available for 100k IDR per day. If you’re not on an all-inclusive deal, breakfast costs 30k and dinner 70k per person — all home-cooked and tasty! Filtered water, coffee, and tea are available for free, which is a nice bonus. The view from the homestay is beautiful and adds to the charm of the place. If you’re coming by car, it’s a good idea to reverse park upon arrival. The entrance is on a sloped, narrow downhill road that makes turning around tricky.
