I loved staying in a traditional house during my visit to Toraja, which made the experience even more unique. Aldi is very attentive and always goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great time, including helping with the bus tickets, motorbike rentals, etc. I defiantly recommend this place to anyone that wants to have an authentic experience!

Staying in a tongkonan is a once in a lifetime experience, Aldi and his family do their best to make sure you have a pleasant stay in their homestay, i had a good time. This special place is not far from Rantepao, but in the countryside, so the atmophere is quiet and relaxed, i even had the chance to have real indonesian/toraja dinner and breakfast with them. You can also have a glimpse of real toraja life when they show you how they feed their animals or collect the local beverage from the trees.

The hospitality shown by Aldi. He kindly picked us up from the bus stop at 0500 (and dropped us off when we left), picked up dinner for us every night, helped us book a guide and allowed use of scooter to get around town.
