The room was comfortable and clean and nicely decorated. The location is excellent just off J7 of M62 and approx. 10 miles from Liverpool. Everything on the full English breakfast was good except for the tomato which was served cooked but cold.

We booked a standard double room for Two with breakfast. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and we both slept well without any aches or pains the following morning. Breakfast was cooked and served well. Staff very attentive without being overly so. Location was very tranquil and reminiscent of a bygone age.
