This was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our 10 day trip to Sicily. All of the staff were extremely hospitable. The hotel is a spacious former palazzo with modern amenities and styling. The room was comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Recommended.

The hotel (an old building renovated correctly) has an excellent location, with a side facing the Duomo Square and the entrance on one of the streets perpendicular to the square. The room and bathroom are of acceptable dimensions, clean, furnished with the bare necessities. Bed with a good mattress. However, we did not have the feeling that there was anything special in terms of decorations and facilities. The presentation on the hotel's own website is obviously exaggerated, as is pretty much everything the staff says (about breakfast, facilities, decoration and furnishing of the rooms, etc.). The claim that the hotel is aimed at "sophisticated contemporary travelers" is a simple marketing ploy. No, there is nothing sophisticated there apart from the pretentious presentation. Good hotel and that's it.

It’s a gem. Everything — from the location at the heart of the old city, incredible historic building and the tastefully brand-new interior to the bedding and shower amenities — is simply perfect. The front desk service is top-notch. This is the best hotel I have ever seen or stayed in. Worth every penny you pay.

A sophisticated art hotel with enormous effort and attention to detail to create a wonderful high end experience. Massive room with bespoke art and furnishings. Incredible romantic location in the heart of Ragusa.
