Perfect location for us to stay while visiting the National Trusts Stourhead House and Gardens nearby. Lovely property met all our needs. We also visited the East Somerset Railway while in the area. Property was clean, well kept and had everything we needed.

Cleanness is a big factor for us. Our white socks stayed white. That's how we check the floors are clean as we don't wear shoes in our homes . And was very tidy , all the amenities worked as they should, . Nice views from all widows if you like miles of fields :) . There is a road at the front of the property but this is covered by trees so not much traffic noise :) kitchen dinner lounge is upstairs and the 2 beddrooms are downstairs soo alot cooler to sleep in the summer :) overhaul the property was very nice and had its quirks, host we're friendly and communication was great :) we only stayed 2 nights too visit Cheddar Gorge and Longleat Safari both about 30mins drive away .. very happy with property would definitely stay again :)

The cottage was lovely and clean. Kitchen was well equiped. The ensuite bathrooms were very nice and having two bathrooms is great when you have kids. The cottage works very well for a family of 4 we had a very comfortable stay.

It was just as it said in the description. The view was phenomenal. Very comfortable furniture and the facilities were great.
