The hotel on the Isle of Raasay was a wonderful experience. It’s important to check the schedule of the last ferry in advance, but the hotel staff provide all the necessary information. I was lucky to arrive on a sunny day, which made the walk absolutely incredible. You feel completely immersed in nature, with rabbits running around and beautiful, peaceful surroundings. At first, it may seem a bit noisy, but everything closes around 11 pm, and then it becomes perfectly quiet. My room overlooked the garden, and I can only imagine how stunning the views must be from rooms facing the lake and the mountains.
