Wantara Suites is a hidden gem in the old city centre. An amazing place to come home to after a long day visiting the sites. Wolfgang and Anne Marie were most welcoming, accommodating, super friendly, and inspiring conversationalists. The attention to detail was very welcome: everything in the cottage worked as it was meant to (even the knives had been sharpened!). Absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for a place that will recharge you and fill your cup

Beautiful property. Each unit has a patio. Cosy fireplace. Kitchen had essentials, spices, coffee, tea, oil, vinegar. Very clean, helpful hosts, always there to help. Highly recommend, rather than sitting in a cell of a hotel room. Close to historic centre.

It was centrally located, 10-15 minute walk to main attractions of the old city. The apartment was well equipped and had a log burner was fantastic to use to help the apartment cosy in the evenings. The apartment is set in a lovely garden, very quiet. Claudia and Rolly were lovely and ensured all our needs were met and made the stay very enjoyable.

We loved everything about this property from the facilities to the staff who supported us throughout our journey! From organizing tours to putting toys in our room before we arrived for our children, this location thought of everything. We will definitely be back and will be recommending to everyone we know interested in visiting Ecuador.
