I stayed here for two weeks while recovering from getting my wisdom teeth out and it was a very comfortable stay. The beds are amazing with curtains, lights and outlets, it’s cheap, it’s nice and quiet even though it’s close to a nightlife area, it’s easy to meet people in the common area, and the staff are fantastic!

My fourth and final stay (this year) was as good as the previous ones. This time I really enjoyed how close the place was to the Ecovia and used it to get to Parkour in the Cumanda Community Centre, Parque Carolina (go Saturday / Sunday if you want to join in cheerleading) and the astronomy museum.

Another great stay. Really nice location half way inbetween Ofelia and Quitumbe so easy to reach on public transport from both (didn't even have to change) and the hostal looked after my spare things while I was in Mindo. Cristina helped me with public transport to get to Lloa so I could walk to Guagua- google said it couldn't be done but Cristina made it simple. Andres the volunteer invited me to his Parkour group and also to practice Parkour in the nearby park - El Ejido; really nice to be able to exercise in a green car-free space so close to the hostel.

Within a week of being there I'd booked to come back between trips elsewhere in Ecuador. I love the pool table, mini-gym area, music & huge seating space. Between these and the great staff and volunteers, it's like a throwback to the days before people thought socialising was something to do with the internet. The area is great with a range of places to eat and drink from down to earth local cafes to hipster craft breweries and foreign cuisine as well as great transport links, interesting plazas and street art, and there are 2 big parks in walking distance.
