The location is beautiful. Public transport isn’t the best however this should be expected from such a rural location. Livorno is a close bigger city which is worth visiting. Staff didn’t speak much English however they were very nice and helpful

Lovely views from the restaurant and bedroom. It was quite wild and windy during our stay, so we didn't try a swim in the sea just below the hotel, but watched some amazing waves. There was an area to eat outside where we had breakfast. The room also has mosquito netting which is a great idea for other times. The hotel had been used in 60s cult film The Easy Life / Il Sorpasso which was interesting to watch. No noise from the nearby road. A great drive there with some dramatic coastline where the sea produced some huge waves. There were some areas to pull in and admire the scenery.
