Beautifully restored old Tuscan Mill with cosy apartments and a lot of small details that made our stay worthwhile. Owners were really friendly.

Every detail at Molino do Cogno shows the affection, dedication, and care with which Carlo and Margarita built this beautiful place. Everything we needed was at our disposal, and Carlo even shared the history of the place in a very enthusiastic way, showing that it's a place made with affection. Having a vacation filled with affection is a completely different experience. We truly wish we could return and stay longer. The tips on places and restaurants to visit were also excellent.

If we had to describe the experience of staying at Molino di Cogno in one word, it would be incredible. But one word is clearly not enough. What awaits everyone who comes to this fantastic house goes far beyond the usual stay in a rental apartment. This place breathes love. Everything is wonderful. The vast, picturesque natural surroundings around the house—with its forest, river, varied terrain, and breathtaking views—are stunning. The house itself is old and beautiful, with an incredibly stylish interior design in the rooms, where every detail has been thoughtfully considered. We were delighted by every single detail. Margherita’s impeccable taste and soul, which brought it all to life, are felt everywhere. And Carlo’s eyes light up when he talks about the centuries-old history of the old mill and the miller’s house! With what passion he gathers all the information from archives, libraries, and museums! From the very first moments at Molino di Cogno, you don’t just feel like a guest—you feel like a cherished and close family friend. Margherita and Carlo are ready to help, assist, and offer valuable advice. Our rating is 11 out of 10! Margherita and Carlo have created a territory of love. We felt wonderful in this magical place and are already dreaming of returning. Olga and Michael.

The property is simply stunning. The area surrounding, the restoration of the building itself, the interior design and Carlo and Margherita’s passion for the Mill is amazing. It is beautifully furnished with original furniture that has been restored to a very high standard, the quality of fixtures and fittings in the apartments makes everything such a pleasure to use, and the interior design feels very original and truthful to the building but with all the modern luxuries of AC etc, it was incredibly clean and we felt at home immediately. The hosts Carlo and Margherita are brilliant, nothing is too much and they make you feel very very welcome and can recommend some excellent places to eat locally! This is a phenomenal place to explore the Chianti region and further into Tuscany. The pictures really don’t do it justice, we cannot wait to go back!
