Charming hotel with clean basic however comfortable rooms in a typical Corsican village. Easy parking and access. Great location for those who like walking or stopping to make the most of the area. Great menu with a few choice which means it is always fresh. The chef is a local smart lady, very creative and prices very affordable. The restauration are is indoor for breakfast (very generous) however outdoor for diner (and lunch to be verified) in a lovely well managed garden so refreshing particularly during heat waves. The hotel was welcoming the #1 world chess player while we were there as the village runs a chess competition every year. What a good surprise! This family run hotel is simple, far away from these clinical no atmosphere hotels you may stay at, there is a family feeling about it. Like a home with a great history to share. Coming from Australia, we loved it and for me it was a delight to come back there as I grew up in the island and use to come to the village with my parents. This might influence my review but my husband and children enjoyed there stay as much as I did. I came incognito, talk to very very nice and despite being perfect bilingual family locals spoke good english to us showing their good skills. A very nice scape to the mountain was very much appreciated in this little hotel before heading towards Solenzara.
