We had a warm welcome by our hostess. Our room was fabulous, large, en-suite with a spectacular view of the lake and mountains.

Friendly and helpful owner who even washed and dried our dirty clothes for us, not to mention the breakfast muffins, free chocolates and wine/spirts/snacks in the common lounge area.

Balmoral Lodge was a wonderful place to stay, and I truly enjoyed spending our days here in Queenstown. Cis (the manager) was extremely kind to us. We arrived later than our scheduled check-in time, and he waited for us and welcomed us in a great way. She also helped us with a laundry service that was not included, yet he was kind enough to offer it anyway. The view from the room makes everything incredible—you wake up to one of the best views in Queenstown. For the price we paid, I believe it was absolutely worth it. We thought the room would be a bit bigger than it actually was, but even so, I really liked it. The service was excellent, and the room had many thoughtful details such as good coffee, tea, and very good cleanliness.
