Ralph is an incredible host, always willing to chat & explain/show anything. Great value, excellent breakfast....hosted by Ralph....This IS the place to stay in Queenstown! On ya bike, Fouby & Nella Mintaro Mews Clare Valley S.A p.s. Of course Ralph comes from Adelaide!

Hunter's was amazing. We had the best stay! Ralph and Renate are the lovliest people and really added a personal touch to our holiday. A beautiful old hotel with an interesting history. Ask Ralph to show you around and you'll get some good stories 😀 The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfy. The buffet brekky each morning was a nice surprise. Excellent selection and very appreciated. Hunter's is the perfect base from which to explore Queenstown and surrounds. Make sure you go on the wilderness railway steam train! Take some warm clothes and enjoy lovely Queenstown. We sure did! Thanks Ralph and Renate. We will be back 😊 Leeanne and Steve.

Our room was very comfortable and the hotel was beautiful. The hotel and the town has a great history. Ralph (the owner) was very hospitable and had great recommendations for places to go and things to do. Delicious breakfast included. Great view from street of the natural surroundings.

Toasty warm room, room heated on our arrival. Friendly, hospitable host and shared a lot of history and local information. Great breakfast spread. Easy parking. Beautifully restored building, a credit to the wonderful owners!
