Gorgeous cosy cottage overlooking the Forth River. The atmosphere inside was lovely, through the furniture and decor. We stayed over New Year but there were still cute Christmas lights and decorations in the living room. The location is stunning no matter the weather!

We were visiting Edinburgh and by chance I saw this establishment in Booking.com. Love on first sight! The photos are very accurate. The house is as idyllic and beautiful as shown and even more!!! It has a fully equipped kitchen and the hostess had put breakfast items (bread, cheese, milk, fruit, coffee) for us. That was a pleasant surprise. Bathroom and bedroom were clean and there was plenty of pillows and towels to use. The view of the bridges and queensferry is phenomenal. If you are visiting queensferry, the location is ideal next to all the pubs and restaurants and close to a scenic walking/bicycle route in the forest. If you are visiting Edinburgh (like us) the bus stop is just 5 min walk and the train stop 15 min walk through the aforementioned forest route. Better use the bus 43 as it is more frequent than the train. And you need the almost the same amount of time to reach Edinburgh centre (20-30 min)
