Wouter “Swimming pool, macaws, bungalow”

The staff and the owner are fantastic! We arrived during torrential rain. The staff helped us finding our bungalow and gave us an umbrella to get from the car to the bungalow. The bungalow was private, small kitchen but functional, bedding was good and so was the shower. From the swimming pool and our bungalow we were able to spot macaws, which we didn’t see at the national park Carara.

The location is amazing! In the jungle with the most amazing plants and toucans and macaws flying around, nothing short of a dream! The staff are genuinely lovely, the pool is beautiful and clean. I loved waking up early listening to the jungle whilst having a coffee.

The cabins are in a very wild forest. Toucans, macaws, howler monkeys and so much more around in your doorstep.

The room was a good size and well equipped with a fridge which had a water cooler and a kettle. We enjoyed using the pool and the loungers there were very comfortable. There were scarlet macaws flying above us in the hotel grounds. The location was ideal, not far from Carara National Park and there was an excellent bakery in the town which had supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
