I had higher expectations for my stay. I booked a “superior” room with a sea view — while the view was indeed beautiful, the room itself felt very standard. A more accurate description would be a standard room with a sea view. There were no toiletries or amenities provided. The bathroom was tiny, and every time we showered, the floor got completely wet. We had to use the bath mat to soak up the water, which then became too wet to dry our feet. There was also absolutely no place to leave our shampoo or personal items in the shower, which was quite inconvenient. The sink was half clogged, and the faucet had clearly been broken before — rather than replacing it, a makeshift repair had been done. The fridge wasn’t cold at all, so we didn’t feel comfortable buying milk for coffee or storing any perishable food or drinks. The Wi-Fi was absolutely horrendous — extremely slow and barely usable. Sending a single photo on WhatsApp was a struggle, and streaming anything was impossible. The TV was outdated and unhelpful, with a channel list that didn’t match the actual channels. We gave up on it after trying once. Breakfast was very basic and the same every day. We didn’t eat the bacon because it looked undercooked and soggy, and the eggs were not properly cooked either. While there was a large section for vegetables and salads, it went mostly untouched. That space could have been used for better breakfast options. That said, there were always tables available, even at peak times, which was a plus. We were glad we didn’t book all-inclusive. Instead, we found a fantastic Italian restaurant just across the road and had dinner there four times. Well done to them — excellent food and service. The hotel itself clearly needs a full renovation. There was no air conditioning in the corridors or elevators, making them hot and uncomfortable.

Nice location, friendly staff. It was my birthday and I travelled late I had the room decorated for me with gifts - it’s the little things sometimes that make a big difference

Location and facilities. Varied breakfast and spacious rooms. Great spa and very friendly staff. Nice choice of restaurants both in the hotel and in the surroundings. Very comfortable beds.
