There was a small welcome bundle in the fridge: milk, Welsh butter and a large Bara Brith cake, a lovely surprise and very welcomed. The bungalow is a short drive to the beach or you can take the coastal path there via a 15min walk, which was beautiful. Good size tv, 3 good size bedrooms. Great shower. Great hotel in the village, offering an excellent Sunday lunch. St David’s church is lovely and the congregation were welcoming. Interesting Maritime Museum in the old St Mary’s church. Village has 2 good shops, Premier Stores and Spar. Nice cafe down by the beach, a few car spaces down there or there is a free car park in St David’s Road.

The bungalow presents itself at first entry as clean, warm and nicely decorated. It's in a great location and has good off-road parking for two cars. The spacious kitchen doubled up as dining room and was very light. As we stayed in February during Storm Eunice (or whatever the name was - three appeared with 80+mph winds in quick succession during the two weeks I was in the UK) the warmth of the building was much appreciated. The conservatory and garden area were untested due to the weather and time of year but looked lovely. A lot of love and careful thought has been put into the design and layout of the house. I would visit again, but would be worried about the effect of the soft mattresses on my back...
