Please note that guests can check in until 20.00. Guests arriving later should contact the hotel in advance.The property cannot accommodate children younger than 12 years old.Terrace Lodge is smoke and scent free. Smoking, perfumes and fragrances are not allowed in the whole property.Be aware that the area can be rainy during summer (DEC-MAR). February is usually the wettest month of the year. Sometimes, due to rain and landslides, some roads could be closed. If you are booking the accommodation for that period, consider the risk of not being able to reach Putre an Terrace Lodge. Terrace Lodge does not guarantee exceptions of policy for cancellations during that period.
LOCAL TAX LAW.
Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%
To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won't be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).
This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid seperately.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Terrace Lodge – Putre A charming and comfortable accommodation in the heart of Putre. The rooms are simple but cozy, with the big plus of having both a heater and reliable hot water — something you really appreciate in the chilly Altiplano nights. The lodge is surrounded by a nice garden and offers beautiful mountain views, which make the setting especially peaceful. Breakfast is reasonably good, though it’s served rather late: officially from 07:30, but in practice they only start preparing it at that time, so it’s usually closer to 08:00 before everything is ready. For travelers planning an early start to Lauca National Park, this can be a bit inconvenient. English is not spoken here, but communication is still possible with some patience. Payment by card is accepted, which is very practical in a small town like Putre.

Great welcome from Oli and her team. Offered coffee and cake as I waited for room to be ready. Perfect location. Great views. Liked the outside seating area. All the staff were lovely
