I've stayed at the Princesse Isabelle before - I go to watch the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp every October - and would do so again. It is inexpensive and well sited. The Metro to get into central Paris is a 10-minute walk away and I can get a 175 bus to the Pont de Surennes, which is near Longchamp (although the service this year was not up to its usual standard). The host is always extremely helpful and printed a document for me as well as giving advice, in the past, regarding the bus services. I will stay again.

Everything is as expected for a budget hotel - Good breakfast - Towels changed daily - Kettle in room for hot water - Coffee sachets provided on request - the staff ensured that there are eggs available for breakfast (as it ran out in one of my previous stays) - Easy walking distance to my offices in La Defense area - Close to Bois de Boulogne (so I could go for a run in dark & cold morning with a chest light and enjoy the fresh air before work).

The hotel itself is very simple, basic, but decent, space in the room and in the bathroom is in line with with similar hotel in Paris and surrounding area. The main advantage of this hotel is the price, compared to hotel in Paris it is possible to save up to 50%. Other advantages: position is nice, close to restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and very close to La Defense (about 15min walk from the Arc) and to public transportation. Receptionists were very kind. No special observation of the cleaning of the room
