The building is quite old but charming and quirky! Due to its age parts were a little shabby. I did have misgivings about one set of stairs and I was on the top floor. On each floor there were seats and swings so you did not have to remain in the bedroom if you chose. My room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and there was a sitting area. I had an issue with hot water for a shower but this was dealt with promptly. The bathroom could do with a bit of improving but it was clean. On the top floor there is a restaurant open all day and offering a selection of dishes, both Indian and continental. The staff throughout were all friendly and helpful.
