All penalties are subject to an additional service tax of 10%.In the case that a room is shared by a VAT exempt guest and a non-exempt one, the 18% VAT tax will be added to the room rate.When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.
Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.
Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.

This place was absolutely amazing. From the small touches like the coca tea near the reception and even a welcome cookie, to helping us order a cab to the bus station and modifying “to go” boxes to suit our dietary needs. This place was absolutely amazing. The room itself was warm and cozy which included bathrobes, a heater and a water kettle with tea and coffee nearby. Given that we’d been on the road for a while and wanted to acclimate at a higher altitude, this spot was perfect for that. Close to the main square, many great restaurants and coffee shops, it was a great home base.

The location of the hotel is convenient, very close to the main square. The staff was helpful with our requests and recommendations of things nearby. The breakfast was alright.

Excellent as always with the Tierra Viva hotel chain! This hotel is centrally located in Puno - 1 block from main sqaure and close to the market and to streets with restaurants. Clean, well appointed rooms and staff amazing as always with Tierra Viva - this hotel chain is truly impressive!

Friendly and helpful staff. Hot water for tea always available in the reception, good breakfast. The trip we organised separately messed up our booking and the hotel reception quickly sorted it for us, very caring and efficient, thank you
