The host's son was extremely helpful & kind. Unfortunately, I didn't know he was our 1st point of contact. When we arrived & the toiletries were depleted. Once we told him he fixed it. My mum has coeliac so we have to eat in. I didn't tell the host so we didn't have enough pans. Once we told Martin he sorted it.. Martin also gave us a discounted lift to the airport. Buses do not run on Sundays so taxis charge double. Bus 14 is 5min walk & takes you into la rochelle bus station. It's a pleasure if you don't have a car. House is lovely. However, if you are tall you must watch you head. Ceiling in bedroom is suitable for people under 5ft.
