The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are fabulous, a real Costa Rican vibe. I can't say enough about the cleanliness.... The cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at. I was there for 11 days.... Clean sheets every three days, fresh towels daily, garbage emptied daily. Impeccable. The location is perfect ... Not downtown, but a very short jaunt to all the amenities you could possibly need. Very close to several beaches.

Hotel Pura Vida was a beautiful stay. Very quiet hotel - perfect for a relaxing break. Rooms were nice and clean and staff very friendly Location also great - close to everything but on a nice quiet street

5 minutes walk to heart of town and beach. Lovely staff. Big room. Lots of greenery in the communal areas. Water filter for filling our bottles. Relaxed.

It was fantastic just like last time we were here. When we decided to return to Puerto Viejo we didn‘t think twice about where to stay. Everyone working there is super friendly and welcoming. We loved the cat visiting our room daily! Everything is super clean, they make your bed and replace your towels daily. Highly recommended.
