The staff was very friendly and helpful security guards. At night and desk clerks in the day was very good. Some staff were really exellent at being more helpful and kindThe communal kitchen was a real help. Walking distance of 2 blocks to large grocery store and buses to everwhere the restuarants were cheaper than the malicon and the food was better 1/2 to 3/4 the price

We would stay here again because it's a short distance from the airport and easy to Uber to. There's also a confectionary right across the street with friendly staff. What we didn't like is that the room (#1) we were given was right beside the check-in desk (which is up a flight of stairs), so there was some activity, noise, and lots of light - there were many other rooms available, and next time we would definitely ask for a different room. The blinds do not sufficiently darken the room and the bed is quite hard, but the shower is excellent and we imagine the terrace would be lovely on a sunny day. We didn't use the pool, but it looked fine. We were here for just one night, so didn't explore the area except to walk to a great breakfast place nearby, Obaal Cafe.

Not a fancy hotel, it needs some renovations, but the staff is very friendly and polite. Location is good for the price, the main beaches are 10-15min bus ride and the hotel is 3min from the bus stop.

Ixaya was great. The staff was very welcoming, and it felt very secure. The pool area and terrace were lovely-- tons of places to sit in the sun or shade. I didn't swim but the pool looked inviting! The location was really convenient-- an easy 20-minute walk into 5 de Diciembre or Versalles! The internet worked really well, which was essential because I had to take a few video calls while I was there. I loved going to Cafe Por Favor down the street for breakfast each morning.
