The location of the room, the ocean view, the heated pools and most of all FOOD. Oh my god, that completely exceeded our expectations! Big thanks to the head chef! Unfortunately, our food experience in various hotels in Gran Canaria was poor: similar food, low quality, poor protein/meat options, excessive use of awful vegetable oil. However at Altamar we were very pleasantly surprised by not only the available range of foods and meats, but by the quality of produce and the taste, which for once was great. If that terrible oil was used, it was not in the quantities we experienced. The server staff should be mentioned as well, who were very helpful and super efficient! So we are definitely coming back and are super grateful to everyone in Altamar Restaurant and back kitchen Thank you!

We had to spend one extra night at Gran Canaria due to cacelled flight and this was a fair alternative.

We have enjoyed the view from hotel room, pool, restaurant area. The empoyees were very friendly and helpful. There were a nice day program (aqua gym, darts, bingo, show in the evening and etc). Hotel also offers a free bus to Puero Rico and Amadores beach almosy every hour. There is a taxi stop just outside the hotel. The food in restaurant was great. I recommend to take all inclusive.

We were lucky with the weather this holiday. Didn't have breakfast in the restaurant. The room was sunny, bed was comfortable, good equipped kitchen for simple meals. Quiet area under the pool. Not so many guests in the heated pool. All terraces got glass fences which makes the view better.
