The fine print
Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee of 19%.To be exempt from this 19% additional fee the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. Guests paying in local currency will not be exempt from this fee. In case of no-show at the hotel, the invoice will be issued in the local currency and will include the VAT supplement.VAT is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately.

The room was warm, cosy and comfortable. Well laid out with plenty of storage space. Breakfast was great.. fresh to the table, plenty of variety. Location was good... a short walk in to the main street and close to a small supermarket and coffee shops. Best of all was being able to leave our luggage whilst hiking in Torres del Paine, coming back and the luggage is already in our room ready for a much needed hot shower. We were told check in could wait until after we were clean and warm.. this was a lovely gesture and much appreciated.

This was a great hostel. The rooms were so comfortable and it was amazing value for money. They staff went over and above to help and we even left our packs here while we did the O trekk for a week and it was free as we stayed 2 nights. Also a great location
