The fine print
Please note extra beds are subject to availability and can only be requested for the Tambopata Traditional Twin Room.Please note that the property offers airport pickup service for all guests. Transfer from the airport to the property via bus and boat is provided.
Transfer-in (from Puerto Maldonado to the lodge): two departures daily at 13:00 and 14:00.
Transfer-out (from the lodge to Puerto Maldonado): two departures daily at 07:00 and 08:00
Services after these hours can be arranged for an extra fee.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

Our guides Carmen and Jemfry were incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Also extremely flexible and attentive to guests' needs. There is so much wildlife and biodiversity in the area, and you can learn all about the conservation projects they are running. Food was top notch.

We loved our time at Refugio! The lodge is beautiful and has everything you need. The guides are very knowledgeable and the activities are extremely fun and interesting.

Facilities were excellent super well maintained and so clean! They make you take your walking shoes at the entrance and it makes such a difference Waking up to Howlers was unreal Food was really good and had a local Amazon sense to it Room was huge and super clean Clay lick tour was good Staff at the lodge were really lovely and our guide was good From previous reviews I stressed so much about bugs in the rooms and it was totally fine
