Hotel Overview

Alua Tenerife is 300 metres from Playa Jardín and 10 minutes’ walk from Puerto de la Cruz. It has 2 outdoor pools a children and an adult one, a buffet restaurant and a free pitch and putt golf course.
Guests have access to an indoor pool, sauna and hot tub for an extra charge. Facilities also include gym, tennis and squash courts.
Please note that the indoor swimming pool is closed on Saturdays afternoon and Sundays, this is a payed service.
The establishment offers My Favorite Club®, with exclusive services such as: - personalized check-in and check-out, access to My Favorite Club Lounge with snacks and drinks, - access to exclusive areas - and welcome bottle of sparkling wine and a letter from the General Manager at check-in.
Each room comes with a fridge, balcony or terrace and satellite TV. A safe, cot or extra bed are available on request. Air conditioning is available during certain hours of the day throughout the summer months. Free WiFi is available in rooms.
There is a small on-site shopping centre including a supermarket. There is a children’s play area and a games room.
There is a bus station 15 minutes’ walk away in Puerto de la Cruz offering services to other parts of the island.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we easily found street parking nearby. Check-in went smoothly. When we entered the room, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean it was, and music started playing from the TV. The room offered a beautiful view of the ocean, was modern, spacious, well-equipped, and we didn’t miss anything. A kettle with a selection of teas and instant coffee was available. Doors and electricity were operated by key card. Breakfast was included in our stay and offered a wide variety of food options. On my girlfriend’s birthday, we were also surprised with a bottle of sparkling wine and a birthday note in the room, which made us really happy.

Friendly and helpful staff, spacious and clean rooms, great location, right next to the beautiful black beach. The hotel is a bit old but that’s reflected in the cost as well. Good value for money.

Thanks! Everything was good! Food was good, fresh and different. Room was quite new and cosy. Clean hotel with good location, almost near the ocean.Swimming pool was clean as well.

Breakfast had wide variety of choices, room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Free parking available on the street. Loro park in within a walking distance.
